Consumer Insurance Association Reports & Reviews (9)

That's the number they called from. I said hello but they didn't respond for a good 10 seconds and then said "hello yes this is consumer insurance association." I asked who they were and the person said "we want to talk to you about your car insurance payment" and that's when I hung up the phone

Known scam per web search. (Non-solicited call.)

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

Phone call seems like any other insurance quote conversation. Only after they get you vehicles information and your name and address the call ends.

Call center claims to work with StateFarm and Allstate. They try to get information about car insurance. They want private information. They are obviously reading a script to lure people by promising to save hundreds of dollars on car insurance.

The man called me and stated that he was calling about my car insurance billing, I don't drive and I don't have a license so I told him he had the wrong guy, then he hung up. Then I called back to tell them to get me off their call list and they said the script again like they were calling me but I was calling them and I told them I was calling them and they hung up. So I called back again and the woman was going with her script and I told her a bunch of random numbers when she asked for my zip code and after I kept saying numbers way over 5 she hung up. They were advertising it as if they worked with Farmers Allstate and AAA, seems mainly to be car insurance and that they would take my card and send it over to the insurance as if it were being paid. It was in an Arizona number, so my phone is from Arizona I got it there but I do live in Missouri so I was a little shocked at first but someone that be calling me from there but who knows I might have numbers from other states.

Hello! I work for a company called Consumer Insurance Services, LLC. We have been receiving phone calls about another company- Consumer Insurance Association cold calling people and trying to obtain personal information. This is a scam company and we need these callers to be shut down immediately. They are reflecting badly on our business as most people do not recognize the difference in company names. We are receiving bad reviews and people who are very upset calling us as the scammers are trying to obtain extremely personal information which we can only assume would be used for identity theft. I have already reported this to the FTC but they are not very useful in giving me any information about how they are helping rectify this situation. I have 5 different phone numbers that I have been told the scammers are calling from so far: 541-209-5958, 541-262-0470, 541-209-5956, 360-298-9548, and 475-219-2320. This has been going on since 04/19/18 as far as we know as that was the first notification we received. Thank you for any help in advance!

Received a phone call from a 'Stacie Gray' (17065038050) based out of Calhoun, GA (location according to iPhone) claiming to be of the "Consumer Insurance Association" who apparently works with "Allstate & State Farm Insurers" stating that they can save money on my car insurance. Less than 10 seconds into the call, and without asking me questions about my current coverage, they requested my zip code. When I stated that I already had coverage and did not wish to provide, they simply disconnected the call. After doing a basic internet search of "consumer insurance association" there is nothing provided. When I called the number back, a man answered thanking for the call back and stating, again, that he could save me a money on my car insurance. I asked him for his website and he quickly reiterated that they work with local insurers and immediately demanded (with a forceful tone) my zip code. When I told him I couldn't find anything about their firm online, he simply disconnected the phone call.

Agents located in a call center will repeatedly call you until you answer or call back. When you speak to them, you will be promised that you can save hundreds of dollars on your car insurance. The initial callers will ask for your zip code, confirm you've been insured for the past 12 months and inquire as to how many cars are insured. If you are unfortunate enough, you will be transferred to someone that is called an "Enrollment Agent" to gain assistance. When transferred, I immediately requested confirmation that the person I was speaking with is actually an insurance agent. The agent I spoke to disconnected the call once I started probing and requested the agents website. I have communicated with this company on several different occasions and the result is always the same. Once you begin asking probing questions they will disconnect your call. Beware of "Consumer Insurance Association" or "Quality Insurance Association". They change their names from call to call.

This company is NOT connected to State Farm, All State or Farmers. I have contacted all 3 companies requesting the validity of the promises made by this company prior to providing information and they have no idea who these people are. I got lucky and caught on to the scam before anything was compromised of mine. This information MUST be distributed to prevent any innocent people from being scammed!

I was called repeatedly by this number from Elkridge, MD claiming to be the "Consumer Insurance Association" with the purpose of saving me hundreds of dollars a month on my car insurance. They claimed they worked with *** *** and *** *** (even though I don't use either of those companies) and could save me money. It sounded suspect, so I googled them while we were on the phone and found no results matching any entity named the "Consumer Insurance Association". They wanted to begin by obtaining information about where I lived and what insurance I had, etc without giving me more information about their company before doing so. As I pressed for more information, they hung up on me. I called back and went through the same process this time, told them I thought this was a scam and that I would report them to the ScamPulse.com - at which point they hung up on me again. I don't believe any reputable company working with any agency would conduct themselves in such a suspect manner and do nothing to provide legitimate proof of their business or why they are seeking to obtain sensitive personal information.
