I bought a cheap headlight for $6.99. Then found a few days later I had been billed another $64.99 as part of a 'subscription'. I did not sign up for this or tick any box. I cancelled the debit card used to pay for the initial purchase and have contacted my bank to try and get and get a refund of the $64.99. The company refuse to supply a refund and are unable to supply a copy of any agreement that I signed. Avoid at all costs. Do not buy anything and tell all your friends to keep clear of this company.

I fell for this cheap trick, and I can't remember exactly how. I have an email receipt from something called "[email protected]" for the gadget I bought, for about 5 dollars. Then a week later another, differently named entity bills me 67 dollars for a "membership" citing phone number 855-429-7295. I called that number, and it was very fishy. Said that when I bought the item for shipping, I joined their online saving club called "www.consumerdirectsavings.com" and the charge was a "membership fee". I honestly don't remember how I made that initial transaction, I must have filled out a survey or clicked on an ad. Yikes. I do read and look for fine print, but it was either hidden carefully or I missed it.

Got a free smart watch from Verizon ( I thought) for $7.95 for the shipping. Looking back at my statement. I've been getting charged $54.95 since February to something called EveryDayOnLine Prem.
Not aware of signing up for anything. What a dope!
Last time I fall for that crap

I thought I was getting a free iPad for $4.95 shipping. I too just got billed that $54.95. Reaching out to my bank to reject that wayment. Right after I hit the send buttom I knew I had been duped.

Got a survey after purchase as Home Depot.....answered all the questions and graded them on store. Got to choose a "free" gift for filling out the survey....chose a watch (piece of junk that does not work) for only shipping charge $7.95. Got my statement and along with the 7.95 shipping charge, there was a $64.95 charge from Gadget Palace Here (877-247-3271). Called that number trying to find out what that was for and got NOTHING in return except I am now a "Member" of a club for a year. Think that club is called Consumer Direct Savings. Tried looking them up and there are NO numbers listed. Went to the site for Gadget Palace Here and had to check in with MY password, no phone nbrs to call! Nothing that I could read, showed up to indicate that I would be a member to anything. Tried a second time to get the charge deleted. Was told I would get a 35% refund and the membership deleted. Was told that I SHOULD have kept reading and was have seen the details for the membership! It was a blasted survey, not a request for a membership for anything. FRAUD and SCAM.

Not a happy camper (my fault for even doing a stupid survey). I have contacted my Card company and filed a fraud report with them. Also contacted my Home Depot to report the "survey" request I got.

same thing happened to me with homedepot survey

Saw an online add for a flashlight (11/26/21). The flashlight was free, I just needed to pay 7.95 for shipping. At that time I did not

see any other charges for anything. Fast forward to 3/14/22 when I noticed a charge on my credit card statement that I didn't recognize.

I didn't think much of it and thought it was just something I had purchased online, but I thought I would call the number that appeared

with the transaction. I was shocked to hear that I had been paying monthly payments to a company called Consumer Direct Savings

Store for the last 4 months. I never agreed to any such thing and they fraudulently used my credit card without my permission. When

I complained to the woman on the phone she offered to cancel future payments but would not refund any of the 54.95 monthly charges.

She then offered me a refund of 40% of one payment if I agreed to not take any action against them. I declined that offer after which she

offered me 60% to which I also declined. Now it was the principal of the thing for me. She called back later that evening and left a message offering me 80%. I never returned that call and the next day I called Discover to report the scam to which they are looking into.

I never received any information nor did I ever hear of this Buyers Store prior to 3/14/22.

Bought a air diffuser for Free and just pay shipping at $7.95
Credit card was charged for shipping at $7.95 and another charge for $49.97. I called the number on my statement (listed above #) And (Jay) said the charge was for a membership fee. I never signed up for a membership. Said he would cancel my membership but I still wouldn’t be reimbursed for the membership fee. But that they had sent me vouchers for $ 125.00 to $ 250.00. Said that I needed to check my emails at old emails or spam. He was in a hurry to get me off the phone. I asked him his name and where he was at. He said California. I said “ I could hear birds in the background. He said that it was his neighbors birds.

I received 2 bills. One for 54.97 and one for 7.95. Then I received in the mail a neck massager that didn't work with NO return address;so I threw it away. When I called the number on my bank statement, I was told the bill was for the neck massager which I DID NOT order and postage, Then I was told that I was now a member of the consumer direct savings, which I DID NOT join or want. There are no refunds.

I called consumerdirect savings and asked how do I buy things if I'm member and she said we sell with different store names, but didn't give me names. I'm not done with them. They got too much of my money and I am on a fixed income
