I received a call from Carl Wilson, who claimed to be an investigator for Consumer Affairs. He game me details about myself that sounded accurate. He gave me instructions to call William Sterling with Liberty National Giveaways using phone number 888-243-0765. I spoke with William, who gave me the same personal information about myself. I was instructed to send a cashiers check to a third party, HJ Consulting Service LLC in Fountain Inn South Carolina 29644. After sending the check overnight, via UPS, I waited for further instructions. I received a call from William Sterling the following Tuesday, saying he and another person landed at LAX Airport and that I now needed to forward another $7500.00 in interest earned from the award amount of $3.500.000 prize. That amount was then reduced by Carl Wilson to $2,000.00 because of my inability to pay the original "tax" amount. After thinking about the whole process, I looked up and called Consumer Affairs, who informed me their investigators NEVER call to persons about prize claims. Liberty National Giveaways website did not use the same phone number as William Sterling gave me. I have requested they both pay back through a cashiers check the money I sent to them. They said it would take 10 working days for a refund. Them they both called many times to me using language and total disrespect to try to intimidate me. That did not, nor ever will, work on or with me.
