Called and left a voicemail pretending to be Barclays Bank. Then when calling back, they kept asking for personal information, including credit card numbers and social security numbers.

The scammer is pretending to be a DirecTV sales office. They are claiming to be hooked up with Amazon and using a gift card to do they scam. I have all they numbers they gave me. I will report them to correct authorities if I knew who they are.

A person identifying himself as from Direct TV by the name of Michael St. John called and asked if we were happy with our bill. He stated he could reduce it by $40. He knew the amount of my previous month's bill and this month's bill. He stated we could contact him directly if we had any issues with our service at the following number 219-800-3408. He even gave me his Direct TV employee number of RJ0017. He stated for him to be able to reduce our bill he needed me to give him authorization and a $1 fee using a credit card or debit card. When I told him to add the dollar to our bill he stated it didn't work that way. I hung up on him. Our phone ID showed the number was from 800-service 888-294-8807. It sounded like he was calling from a large call center as there was a lot of noise in the background.

I called Direct TV and they stated there was no such employee and it was a scam.

I was offered a promotion to reduce my Direct TV bill for 24 months if I pay $280 now with an Amazon gift card and I'll get a $100 Visa card if paid by 10 p.m. tonight. I was given the "billing departments" number to call back 888-838-0636 after I have my gift card. This is the second time I've been made this offer. The caller id on my cell came up with Direct TV's real number.

Calling saying my phone was suspended and I needed to put in my pin number. Called AT&T and said they don't call about suspended services.

Someone called claiming to be from directv/att. Caller ID was a published number for directv 8005315000. The offer was supposed to be for* existing customers offering a discounted rate of 62.50 for 24months but you had to pay for 4mths in advance. And it had to be paid using Amazon gift card. They gave me promotion code and phone # directly to billing and promotions department. When i called the same phone # 800531500 i have used to contact directv in past they said there is no such promotion. *They had knowledge of what services i had on my account.

Received a phone call from “Direct TV” offering to reduce our bill. Sounded legit until they asked to prepayment of 4 months bills using Amazon Gift Cards. We live in Southern California. Contact was made to our landline home number July 21, 2018

The scammer did leave a name MR. JAMES FRANCIS > 817.363.7644 was the number calling from. Claiming that I had won 1.5 million and a Mercedes Benz and something about Walmart I didn't understand. No website or anything else was presented when I asked. When I told the scammer I was going to contact Homeland Security he hung up on me.

advertised and is an almost EXACT duplication of the actual Kendra Scott retail site. Upon attempt to make purchases on this site, received an "unable to process credit card " message. Then within an hour received a fraudulent charge message from my credit card for a larger amount.

I was scammed from Tammy Rivera using cash app. I contacted their customer service department to get my money back and they said in order to get a refund I would have to purchase a google play store card $50 to add to the account to get a refund. Purchased the card added it to my account now they are saying the refund can’t be issued a refund from her or cash app

Received an email about my resume being perfect fit. Went through a interview process via Google hangouts. Got hired, received a "Start up Check" for $3550 was told what it would be for(work materials) and deposit it. It took almost a week to clear, then it bounced. Now I can't reach the "hiring manager"

I received a call from 1877796794. It asked me to call the number back. I did and was asked to give my information to get a Direct TV package. This is a scam.

“Direct tv” called for a reduced rate for 2 years of 69.00 per month to include all channels. All you have to do is get an amazon gift card for 280.00 from a store like target and pay 4 months in advance by 1000 tonight and it is done. You even get a 100.00 gift card. I did not fall for it

Caller ID showed AT&T 800 customer service number. Caller claimed would reduce AT&T/Directv bill to $149 for 24 months if I paid $300 for 2 months of service via ebay gift card. Requested I purchase ebay gift card and call 888-588-9921 and pay the $300 via ebay gift card and give them promotion code DTV197-23B.

The initial phone call got my mother. She is doing in home hospice. She has back pain. When she answered the phone she assumed it was part of the hospice program. My mom gave out her information. Then the second call came (5minutes later)and she answered and gave out info, still believing it was something her hospice program was setting up. I happened to walk in during the second phone call and took the phone away and the caller eventually hung up on me. It’s a scam, my mom is dying and they got her information.
