About 50 people on Facebook said it was legit with photos of the Tupperware they received. They posted a link to a website that claimed that I would win a Tupperware set by scratching off 3 boxes and said that all I'd have to do was pay $9.49 for shipping. I did a virtual scratch off and won an entry to win.

I provided my address for shipping clicked on next for my receipt then it said thank you and that I should receive the Tupperware in 5-7 business days. The name of the company mentioned was Wholesale Health Club.

Little did I know, that $9.49 was for a sapphire membership to some health club. The small print said that this company would conveniently debit $97.18 from provided billing source. I was totally unaware of this scam.

It mentioned that I could cancel by calling 855-203-2833 which I did. At 9pm, I spoke to a so-called customer service rep named Jefferson who had a thick accent. He said that he represented many companies and asked me more details. He looked me up by my name and email address. I told him that I wanted to cancel and for any payments to stop. I told him that I did not want the Tupperware.

He went on and kept telling me about his company from San Diego that he lost to the California fires and how he's now, staying with his father in Texas.

All I wanted was a confirmation number to the cancellation or at least a follow-up email. I did not receive that. And the more I asked about the cancellation, the angrier he became. The call ended after 8 minutes. I checked out any charges listed to my bank account and there was a charge of $9.49 from a company called "timelessritualsf".

Today, I called my bank and shut down my CC card. It was reported as fraud. Since last night, this person named Jefferson is non-existent. I learned my lesson to never buy into such scams from Facebook. Be careful out there!
