Citmer.com Reports & Reviews (4)

After the 4th IVF cycle, CITMER lost our embryo, without providing further information. Since that moment, the fertility clinic did not respond to our communications. CITMER was so rude.

We sought immediately legal counsel for this egregious situation. Though CITMER offered us pregnancy guarantees, it is impossible to get a refund as CITMER did not provide any formal laboratory tests or reports about the treatments provided. Furthermore, dealing with the legal system in Mexico is a winding and painful path. Our lawyer has explained us that it would take years to take court actions against this flagrant IVF clinic. Sadly, these reviews are not on the internet because CITMER is deleting reviews and monitoring them heavily.

I ended up wasting tons of money and flights and I was so stressed out while dealing with this fertility clinic. CITMER billed me over 25,000 dollars and told me I had 7 days to pay it in order to start the treatment. We suspect there is some fraudulent activity going on because the clinic staff told us different things and we think a lot of the clinic’s good reviews are fake and aren't from real customers. We have gone through much pain due to this unethical IVF clinic; CITMER made us go through the most painful moments in our lives.

I want to report a fraud experience I had in CITMER (a fertility clinic based in Mexico). To save some money, I decided to have a fertility treatment in Mexico, at the Center for Technological Innovation and Reproductive Medicine - CITMER Medicina Reproductiva. All started with a simple insemination with a sperm donor provided by Citmer, yet a supposedly perfect stimulation followed by the gynecologist and having no infertility problems. However, none results were obtained. At that point citmer convinced me to go for another cycle and try the in vitro fertilization (IVF) at a discount price this time and with refund in case I did not get any result. The cost of the 3 cycles pack was  $520,000 mexican pesos (aprox. 30 thousand dollars).  I accepted having an IVF  treatment and paid extra money for a Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis. I ended up paying over 30 thousand dollars and over 4 thousand dollars for a Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis; and obtained zero results as citmer said the embryos obtained were abnormal.

As I suspected something was wrong, I required citmer the printed results of my medical tests undertaken by the clinic. Citmer did not provide me the original lab results, citmer provided me a fake copy of the lab test results. The laboratory which supposedly issued the test results in Mexico does not exist, neither does the genetic specialist who signed the fake results. So, it can be concluded that citmer did not do the IVF treatments properly and I was scammed. Citmer cannot prove the IVF treatments were done properly, the medical results provided by the clinic are fake. Additionally, citmer refused to give me a photo of my embryos’ development, it also refused to refund the money I have paid in advanced. Then, the clinic cut off communication completely.

I was misled by citmer, the fraud carried out by citmer is horrible particularly since IVF is such an emotional and invasive process. I found this clinic on internet, it addresses US citizens in search of IVF treatments abroad. Citmer promotes itself as one of the best IVF clinics in Mexico. However, the experienced I had in this clinic unfolds its real face, citmer is not recommended at all, it has zero ethics, zero reliability, and it is poorly equipped with none quality standards.
