We are out thousands of dollars! Melissa was recommended by someone I trust for personal chef services from [email protected] for our micro-wedding. Not just food but flowers & table services as well. Her social media pages are very well put together and very misleading. She was very communicative until paid in full and then disappeared. She does not honor her own contract, we unfortunately had to cancel our wedding and within the wording of her own contract indicates we should receive a full refund because it was done within the timelines she set. She has been nothing but nasty, rude and unprofessional and has attempted to make me feel awful for canceling when she has no clue why we did. We didn’t even have a menu picked out because when i contacted her regarding our menu that was past due she never even responded. I found another client on here that indicated SHE canceled on them and still refused to honor her contract and refund them. For months now she has given me the runaround indicating she was waiting on refunds for airbnbs and airlines (not mentioned anywhere in her contract that I’m responsible for) and told me a date she would refund me by. When contacted on that date she indicated she needed more time. She has been paid in full for almost a year now for a service she did not provide and has refused to refund us for months now. She will not provide an address to send legal documents to either which is not listed on any of her socials or contract. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN
