Received a letter to my residence through the United States Postal Service advising of their client’s death with no Will in Testament with a matching last name of mine leaving $11.5 million dollars unclaimed. They are offering to represent me,

in exchange their law firm will donate 10% to charity and split the remaining funds 50/50.

This letter asked that I reach out to them via email or phone.

An email from me was sent and a response came soon after asking me more information about myself to certify that we were working together. The email also stated plans to process this claim in court for unclaimed and abandoned money. This email stated that I do not necessarily need to be a relative but the simple fact of matching last names would suffice. Email ask to keep this process confidential between only Charles Mason and I, and offered a quick resolution to secure this claim.

This scammer posed as a partner of Divorce and Family Law Group and stated that there is an unclaimed "permanent life insurance policy" held by their deceased client. The scammer is asking consent to be in partnership for the claim of this policy benefit, in view of the striking similarity in same last name and nationality with the deceased.

Received a letter in the mail addressed to a deceased relative stating that there is an unclaimed life insurance policy for $11 billion that the law firm wants to split with the relative. It was addressed at the top with a scale seal and had at the top REF: CAPL/EDD/23011. It says, "The policy holder was one of our clients, Late Dr. [name] who was a Real Estate Investor and precious stone dealer. He was a Covid-19 Victim, who died about two years ago. Since His death, no one has come forward for the claim," and said that they contacted us because of "the striking similarity in same last name and nationality with the deceased".
