I took a test on the website and paid $1 for the results. I did not sign up for their services. Paid the one time test fee and then they deducted $14.99 from my Apple Cash account. I asked for a refund as I did not authorize or ask for a subscription and they denied it.

- Diamondhead, MS, USA

Company charges you every two weeks for $20.00 each time, I do not have a subscription with this comapany yet they charge my card every two weeks and when trying to contact their support to get a refund for the fraudulent charges they refuse to help you and just keep passing you from one person to the next. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU REGARDLESS IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A SUBSCRIPTION AND WILL REFUSE TO REFUND YOU. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR SERVICES!!!!

- Crescent, IA, USA

You pay for the IQ test and then fill out your information to receive the results and then they ask you several questions which trick you into paying for a month subscription with no refund option with you realize what happened

I clicked on a side-ad showing, 'what type of IQ do you have?' It took me to their website where they offered the IQ test. After taking the test, their site offered a .99 cent opportunity to get results, and then the site was very obfuscating. I did not knowingly click on signing up for a 3-month trial for $48.01 which their customer support tells me automatically negated their trial period. I was never interested in using their site beyond the results of different types of IQ. When I went to access my results the site funneled me into their options of months-long use. I then 'canceled my subscription' since it seemed I could not get my results without their subscription! Customer service tells me my $48.01 is non-refundable.

Took an IQ test on Twitter (ad). Took get my score I had to agree to a .99 cent trial (which I could cancel, but it wasnt specified how long the trial was?). I agreed to get my score. However, i noticed that that very same night, they not only withdrew .99 cents, but also another 14.99! I signed it at it said i had to use their cancellation bot. I gave my email address as they asked. The bot said i was sent a code to that email address which i NEVER received. I'm trying now to go through Google Pay to see if there's anything i can do. Otherwise, i have to pay my bank for a stop payment, which will be 35.00.

I signed up for the $0.99 "trial" subscription, took the IQ test, and cancelled my subscription the SAME day. I received a note of my cancellation, and also another email note that "congratulated" me on upgrading to a 12 week subscription for $48.

This is the "upgrade" note:

I sent the following note, and received a condescending reply from Cerebrum IQ:

NOTE (from me)

I cancelled within the trial period and was billed for 12 weeks. I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN I did NOT authorize or accept a 12 week subscription, and canceled within the trial period. In fact, I cancelled the same day I accepted the trial subscription. I have contested the charge with my credit card company, but wish to work with you to assure that I am NOT charged for 12 weeks.

REPLY (from Cerebrum IQ):

Hi there,

We understand how this may make you feel and we assure you our purpose is not to provide a negative experience.

Based on our refund policy, we do make exceptions (on a case-by-case basis), if our customers encounter technical issues with the application, or issues that occur from our end, after reviewing your scenario, we’re afraid that this does not fall under this exception.

Once you have subscribed to the app, you’ve agreed to our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.

While we understand that this is frustrating, however, these documents clearly outline the conditions under which refunds are granted, and we would like to reiterate our commitment to upholding these agreements. We take these agreements seriously as they provide a fair and consistent framework for all of our customers.

We apologize for not being able to make an exception at this time, we hope this provides some clarity and we strongly encourage you to always check each service and software’s terms and conditions before you agree to them.

We'll go ahead and close this ticket since there isn't any additional action we can take. Please accept our sincere apologies for not being able to further assist. We wish you a wonderful day ahead!

These folks are SCAMMERS and I hope they are put out of business!
