I received the following email and went through the signal application and completed the interview one day. Was notified the next day that I received the job and would receive paperwork. Something seemed fishy so I looked up the sender's name and came across the ScamPulse.com Scam...

I was lucky enough to have some red flags and have not released any information yet.

I applied to an Indeed.com posting for a data entry position at Centria Healthcare. I received an email (not through the platform, as is typically the case) proposing an interview via the Signal messaging app. For the interview, they sent me a link to a Google form, which contained written interview questions, which I answered in the form. A day later, I received an email informing me I was being hired and attaching an offer of employment (at the incredible rate of $35/hr), an I-9, a W-4, and a direct deposit authorization. Before filling out these documents, I researched the possibility that the offer was a scam, and sure enough, it was.
