In November 2024 I made a small purchase from an online store called Cedar & Ash. This order took MONTHS to receive, I didn't get the package until January 2025. I didn't think more of it until I saw a charge on my bank account for $29.99 on 4/1/25, showing "TIMBER AND OAKS". I immediately started looking into this because I didn't recognize the company, nor do I have any email interaction having anything to do with this company. I went to the Timber and Oaks website and submitted a support email requesting help to determine what the charge was and getting it refunded. The email I sent was sent to: [email protected]. About an hour later, I received an email reply from a supposed customer service rep, stating that "We aren't affiliated with Timber and Oaks in any way, contact your bank if you have unknown charges". BUT... the person that replied to me was someone from Cedar and Ash ([email protected]), NOT Timber and Oaks. This scammer actually replied to an email I sent to Timber and Oaks, saying they aren't associated with Timber and Oaks. WOW. I replied and let them know their scam has been reported, and that a decent human being would refund my money. BEWARE of the following online store names, as they all seem to be related to each other in an intricate scam: Ash and Timber, Oak and Cedars, Cedar and Ash, Timber and Oaks. Cedar and Ash phone number: (830) 227-2574 / Timber and Oaks phone number: (830) 227-2576. Be safe and best wishes to those dealing with the same issues.
