Woman called elderly man using a family members name, stating she needed him to contact the phone # 1-877-236-4234 and gave a case #A673309. The number was contacted and a gentleman claiming his name was Adam Weiss stated he needed $9000.00 in cash immediately and NOT to tell the bank what it was for. I then contacted the number and a gentleman stating his name was Adam Weiss answered the phone. NEVER provided any type of credentials and when repeatedly asked where he was located, he would only say the state of Michigan. He then hung up on me when I pressed him about making demands for cash. I attempted to call back, he would not pick up the phone and then BLOCKED the number I was calling from. The number the "girl" called from (269-793-5694) was called back and was no longer in service.
