On 1/11/26 Nathanial Rileigh from Cascade Roofing was offered a job to reroof a private residence. On 1/20/26 Mr. Rileigh text a message that he would need 40% of full payment before he started work. On 1/21/26 he came to the residence at approximately 2:20, tore off 1 row of shingles, stapled tarp over said removal and took a cashiers check in the amount of $4,323.76. On 1/30/26 I sent Mr. Rileigh a picture of the tarp blowing off - he responded he would take care of it asap. On 2/5/26 he text he had tore his rotator cuff and would get to my project as a first priority when he healed more. On 2/10/26 he text he was doing better and would start in a week. On 2/26/26 I text Mr. Riliegh that because of his unresponsiveness I wanted him to return the money so I could get a new roofer. There has not been a reply from Mr. Riliegh.
