I would like to share my experience with CARDONA HOME RENEW & REPAIRS L.L.C., which began as a promising home improvement project but quickly turned into a distressing ordeal. During our initial consultation, Juan Manuel Cardona Marquez appeared enthusiastic and knowledgeable, providing a quote and timeline that instilled confidence. Based on this, I made the regrettable decision to pay a substantial deposit upfront, which turned out to be my first mistake. The agreed-upon start date arrived, but there was no communication from the contractor. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone calls, emails, and text messages, I received no response. Initially, Juan did not show up as scheduled, later attributing the absence to another job running over time. He promised to start in two days, and we agreed he would begin work on a Friday and continue through the weekend to complete the project. However, on Friday, Juan was again a no-show. All my attempts to get in touch were met with silence. Later that evening (@10PM) he texted to inform me of a family emergency, claiming that in the mad dash to leave the house he had left his phone behind. He reassured me that he would begin work the following day at 10 AM. Unfortunately, the next day unfolded in a similar manner, with him once again absent and providing yet another excuse via text about personal obligations and having his son for the weekend. In retrospect, I wish I had checked reviews before deciding to hire Juan Manuel Cardona Marquez.. As someone on a fixed income, this experience has been particularly devastating. Please be cautious and do not be misled by the false assurances provided by this company.
