I was hired as a construction supervisor. My first assignment was to do some research then after that they sent me a check to deposit then send it to them because they are a foreign company. I came across this scam page and now idk what to do. I haven’t sent anything.

I responded to her email and said basically the same thing, they sent a check to be cashed and instructed to send them the money by bitcoin. Very pushy about the money being sent at once. Even sent me a text message. So I told her that the check was being held for verification and will not be available for 2 weeks

Just rcv'd my 7th email from "Sasha Lentini"

Hi. I just received my 7th email in the past few days from Sasha Lentini. Take look at the most recent email she sent to me. The first line of her most recent email says "I'm trying to break your code of silence".
I haven't opened the attachment because it's clearly a scam. I just called her and left a msg on her vmail asking her to call me back to discuss the job. She's clearly getting frustrated that I haven't fallen for her scam. Has anyone actually spoken with this "so called" Sasha? Time to take down this scammer!

we have had conversations with a man not women and they got us with the check we sent cashed it sent money through zelle and then the reported check fictitious and my bank refunded them there money how is that even possible my bank even verified it before they let us cash it it was a chase bank account and I bank with chase and I steel got got for 4000.00 dollars I need any and all info phone numbers I'm going ro make it my life's mission to get this person anyone interested cont info [email protected]

This type of email is fishing, because the first email was about interview and you never you applied for that. Be careful, don't fill any document with you information.

I’m not sure where my international information was obtained, but after being scammed before I wanted to be sure. I’m glad I checked. Don't send them anything. Report directly to the FTC. It's horrible that these people are preying on hard-working, desperate people, but such is life.

I was "hired "as a rental assistant. Job description closely matched that of a real estate agent. I started two month training on Mar. 1, but on May 2, I was asked to handle business with a client. Instructions would be sent by email. Upon calling to confirm receipt of the email, I told trainer that after reading, I had a gut feeling that I was being asked to do something illegal. I haven't been contacted again
