I was sent an email and two letters in the mail. The scammer claimed to be Capital One, and they had my name, address, and last 4 digits of my account numbers. They claimed they needed to verify certain information about my accounts otherwise they would put my money on hold and close my accounts. They gave a number of 1-844-572-0731 to call.
