- Gaston, SC, USA

So I was offered a job opportunity from the email addressn provided on the previous page. They said that I was a perfect candidate and that the hiring manager wanted to speak with me about next steps for interview so to download the signal app and enter in a specific number to connect with them. So I did so they started asking me questions about my previous jobs and my experience with working from home after answering all the questions a while later he stated that I was hired and he sent me an offer letter via email. I never signed it or anything cause I needed more information. It seemed legit you know they had the improveitsolutions.com website so I thought it was a genuine position. They stated to get my equipment they would have to mail me the company check and then I purchase the equipment from a vendor using the money I ended up doing that once the check came. My bank account only allowed $400 to be available for use so I explained that to him and he stated to send the $400 for now to the vendor through cash app so I did that and then afterwards I got a horrible feeling but they were still texting me and checking in. I did some research and dug as deep as I could and realized that I may have been scammed after reading the reviews on the Reddit sites and watching people reactions towards the job and experienced similar things. So I contacted my bank and reported the fraudulent check and I reached out to cash app as well but after speaking with them they stated that I may have to pay the $400 back and it’s so unfair to me because I genuinely was looking for a job opportunity to make money not for money to be taken from me.
