Mr.Franco said to send txt to Brad Harrison because my number was in a group of 200 spins. I texted Brad and with texts back and forth was told I will be given $50,000 USD from Manuel Francis lottery win. The information I provided was my full name. Address, that I am female, single, and of course they have phone number. They told me not to tell anyone because it would void my winnings.

Powerball scam from Brad Harrison

Too good to be true. It's sad that this person is using the generosity of someone else's fortune to prey on others.

When I received this text, the first thing I wanted to see is if their were any scam reports. I'm in the process of trying to pay off my student debt and the money would make it easier, but first I wanted to look into a few things to validate the text validity. These are the steps I took to verify this was a scam. I looked up the YouTube video of the winner, who is Brad Harrison, the phone number of the text, then the phone number for Brad Harrison. Looking up the phone number for BH led me to this site and I am glad that others posted their experience, now I know this is a scam.

Got a text from Scott Godfrey saying he was giving away some of his lottery winnings & Brad Harrison will be seeing that I got my money ($50,000). Then the agent texted me with what I had to do. Wanted name, address, phone. He then began texting me with instructions. He said he needed $100 to activate the transaction. When I explained I could do none of the ways he wanted me to send money, he began sending me frequent texts. Yesterday he called me & he had a foreign accent (like you hear on all the scam calls). He also asked $200 more for the courier service.
