I went to purchase a piece of medical equipment (a rollator, for mobility assistance) for my 80 year old elderly, handicapped father and saw one that they had posted on eBay for a good price and purchased it immediately. 2 days later i received a message from Blue Medical that there had been damage to inventory in their wearhouse and that my order was cancelled. I went to eBay and they were still however advertising this rollator available for sale, for the same price i paid, along with other similar models. I reached out to BlueMedical to try to resolve this, giving them multiple options (i could wait until new inventory arrived, accept a similar product etc) but after many messages could not get any response. I reached out to eBay and it seems that they are running some type of cat fishing scheme as they had several similar complaints according to the person i spoke with. eBay acknowledged that Blue Medical was likely being dishonest about their reason for cancellation and that they were likely just trying to lure people in to draw attention to other products they were selling with no intention of honoring their contract of sale at a low price. eBay will be giving them a negative mark for their business and has opened a case to consider kicking them off the website. To me the idea of doing this, committing fraud that negatively impacts handicapped senior citizens, to position themselves for higher prices sales is a very serious matter. People should avoid doing business with Blue Medical at all costs.
