Emailed and texted asking to use the Signal app, add a person in a dm to discuss a time for the interview. After 10 minutes of answering interview questions, they responded congratulations you are offered the position . . . 'and hired!'

I was lured to candidate application via careerbuilder.com to illegitimate job offer from Bladetechtools.com.

The scammers offered me a job with premium gross and sign on bonus. I was prompted to complete paper work and was emailed tax forms and liability waivers, job offer from hiring team etc. I filled out all of the paperwork and submitted a copy of my drivers license along with it. I was then invited to the hiring process as a remote administrative assistant and customer service rep . They sent me a check with $5250 to be fulfilled in a week which im assuming bounces back.

This so-called employer needed a data entry remote position offering $35 an hour. I went to the interview process through the Microsoft teams app with a gentleman named Frank Williams after we spoke on the chat due to their new HR policies he sent me an email for new hire info from an HR person named Sophie Chang, I looked at the address in Oakland California, but there was no suite number and getting interviewed on the teams app with itself a red flag after I told them I had to think about it they increased the pay from $35 an hour to $37 an hour .
