This is a blind date with a book - scam. How it works is they tell you they are sending you a book (you choose the genre). But, they only send stickers, some paper and a pen. I did not receive a book of any kind. And, I lost $46!

They are "selling" date with a book. You are supposed to get a new book, dressed up with little things that go along with the story. I got a photo copied chapter, a couple of stickers, a highlighter and a fake flower. They will not issue a refund or do an exchange after 30 days of sale . i ordered it on 12/4, they mailed it on 12/ 28 & it took 3 additional weeks to arrive, on 1/17. Scam.

The scammers have mulitple different companies and ads on Facebook advertising Blind Date with a book that shows an excited girl opening her book box with a full book, plus other bookish items like bookmarks, stickers, pens ect. I ordered early December hoping to use as a Christmas present. It got close to Christmas with no box. After contacting CS they said they couldn't tell me when it would come but be patient and sent a bogus tracking that showed it coming from Spain. On FB many people commented that they didn't get anything or if they did, it was a pamphlet with 1 bookmark and a pen, nothing like advertised and came from China with a bogus American address and like 6-8 weeks after order. Mine finally came in and it was the bogus pamphlet and bookmark, definately not worth $30. This company is scamming hundreds of people and is still allowed to post ads on FB for some reason.

The company advertised for a "Blind Date With a Book". We would give a genre, and they would send a wrapped BOOK, with other book related items. All the books were said to be 4-stars rated on ***. What was received was a pamphlet (20 pages and a chapter) that was not even in the genre asked for. It was not a book. After seeing other people in the book community receiving the exact items (not what was promised), we all noticed that the pamphlets were of *** ***' books. We did contact *** *** to alert him that they were using his covers and his name, and we felt that he was a victim in this scam as well. It was ordered on Thanksgiving for a Christmas present. Tracking was sent, showing it shipping from Ireland. It stalled in Corvallis, Oregon. I sent a message to customer service. They responded and said they were sending it again. This time tracking showed it shipping out of China - at this time I knew it was a scam but was still hopeful. When the package was received, the return address showed:and address in Dayton, OH 45458. This address is a business, which is another victim of this scam.

- Trion, GA, USA

It is advertised as including a whole book but I only recieved a book with the first three chapters that looked like it came off of someones home printer.

- Goffstown, NH, USA

This service pretends to sell “blind date with a book” packages but really only sells book jackets (the same book jacket) to its customers. It also states it’s an America company, but the month it took for shipping showed tracking from Sweden and Italy, but added an additional American address tag from Chicago attached to the label. The company could be based out of China.

I ordered 2 blind date with a book packages. Express shipping 5-10 days. It took 6 weeks to get here. And when it finally came, all I got was the supplies to make what we shown in the picture and the prologue of The Last Song book. Not even the entire book. Both packages should be worth $5 if that. It's a scam.

- Agawam, MA, USA

A facebook ad advertised "Blind Date With a Book". They were running a sale before Christmas and I selected to recieve 3 thriller books. All were supposed to be different and theme wrapped as close to the book as possible. What i recieved was 3 of the same exact wraps and no book.

- Cassatt, SC, USA

Purchased what I thought was a legitimate product only to receive a product that wasn't listed and no refund or contact was ever offered. Not the first person to have been scammed by this company through Facebook.

It was advertised as a blind date with a book, you pick the genre and they send you a surprise book with small tokens like stickers and small paraphernalia related to the book or subject

What i got was stickers that had blurred words almost ineligible and a paper copy of part of a book that was stapled together.

It was nothing like what was advertised.

As others have stated, saw an ad for Blind date with a book. I thought it would be a great gift for a coworker. Ordered on December 12th, still have not received product. Original tracking information stated it was coming from Madrid, Spain. Filed a dispute with Paypal, sent new tracking information stating product coming from Hong Kong. Paypal closed dispute in sellers favor. Total joke as this is obvious scammers.

- Bath, PA, USA

I saw an Facebook ad from Bizarte that advertised Blind Date with a Books with shipping that arrived within 5-7 days. Got several different tracking numbers each time I reached out to their support email to ask why the 7 books I ordered did not arrive on time.
