credit card appearing as...BIZBOOKS123LLC...fee of $707.83...was paid by credit card on Aug 5,2019...AVG anti virus was installed...(later we found out it was a hoax...it was the free version)...perpetraters are gone.

They took control of my computer, said it was 30% infected, said they would fix and installed AGV Antivirus..life time tech help statement on credit card appear as BIZ BOOKS LLC...(AFTER COUPLE OF MONTHS THEY DISAPPEARED) AVG THEY INSTALLED WAS THE FREE VERSION) NO ONE ANSWERS PHONES. $707.83 TO BIZBOOKS LLC BOUGHT ME NOTHING...I WANT BIZ BOOKS 123 LLC TO RETURN $707.83. PLEASE RESPOND.

Same experience...My Alexa wasn't working and when I went to the site, This is what I got. They told me my computer was completely vulnerable and sold me a lifetime subscription for 588.00. When I called Webroot they had no record of me. I guess I'm out of a ton of money. People suck.

It took several hours but right now everything is working. I should have known better but I just purchased a new phone from AT&T and could not get my Alexa to work. They got it up and running. Yes I purchased the firewall but as they were cleaning my hard drive, I watched the files and there were files that looked suspicious that they deletedI. I am no genius but fairly intuitive but I am getting on up there in age but still working. i.e. I am not stupid. May telephone #s are different than others I see. Sophia helped me and left a different extension. How long do I wait to see how badly I have been burned? Right now I feel like I made a good choice. Maybe not now that I read the complaints. When will I know I was suckered in?

I Had this happen when I tried to open Alexa; then I had to get a new WI Fi and am having same problem again. Again they told me same thing and tried to sell me something- fooled me twice getting on my computer,= now having difficulty even changing my passwords! CR*P!

I got on a browser to look up help to connect my Alexa with my wifi. The first website which was under the title alexa device support popped up a chat helper. I indicated what I needed and was asked to give my phone number so a tech could call me. To solve my problem they asked me to let them take over my computer (first mistake). Right away they told me I needed my PC cleaned of bad actors to get job done. They then offered for a fee to sign up for a lifetime of PC cleaning. The tech and also the financial person swore that their company (Biz Books123) were tied in with AmazonMerchant Name : BIZBOOKS123

The same as all of the above happened to me back in February. I got to them (they GOT to ME) trying to install ALEXA. They said I needed internet protection. They took over my computer They "sold" me two years subscription to WEBROOT SECURE ANYWHERE. It no longer works .They tried to sell me much more expensive FireWALL PROTECTION.Luckily I became suspicious. They are Indian ..very fast talking. I can't understand how Amazon allows this with Alexa...

That is my question. I trusted this corporation because they came through Amazon. If this ends up being a real sham. I am going to cancel my Amazon account and at least after 120 years, I will save enough that I am not spending to Amazon.
Right now this very minute, I am trying to stay positive.

They are such a scam! Fast talking! The guy I spoke to said my computer was so infected and he was part of Apple and did this for them... please, please, do not fall for them as I did! I know better and they still got me in a vulnerable state! I'm now getting a note to Webroot that my subscription is up!

Biz Books opened up a chat with me when I was trying to install some control of Alexa, they eventually coned me into thinking I had spyware on m y computer and needed to fix it before alexa would work they got me to go as far as to purchase the protection for 299.00 and then wanted to fix my computer saying it would take a half hour, at this point I really caught on and refused to sign the paper saying I could not stop my payment, make sure you talk to some one from Amazon, I feel like such an [censored] and hope that I did not give them access to all of my private information! I called my credit card and tried to stop the transaction and they said I will have to file a charge disbute, the exact same thing happened to me as what happened to the person ablove.

The tech and also the financial person swore that their company (Biz Books123) were tied in with Amazon. Contacted Amazon after the fact and was told that Amazon has no connection with Biz Books 123. The financial guy said he was recording and that he couldn't tell me any falsehoods. Later in day I called them and ask for a transaction of our conversation and that's when he got mad and threatened tp prosecute me with check fraud. He claimed he knew the law better than me. All associated with this company are of Indian descent. Their address they give is in Berwyn Pa. (google maps show this address as a house on a residential street) and I be willing to bet they're calling from another country. If you need help with Alexa make sure you contact somebody from Amazon.
