Sent an email reminding business to file BOI report before and of year for my small business. I filed the report and at the end it requested $499 to file. After completing the request, i noticed the email was marked as “scam” so did some research. It cost $0 to file a BOI report. The IRS said anyone asking for payment for this is a scam. Unfortunately, I had already given them my information but want others to know.
