Constantly Spams our company e-mail address regardless of being asked to stop

Bench Craft Company repeatedly and seemingly desperately keeps spamming my business's e-mail account that's reserved for inquiries to us to try to get us to place an ad on a sign that's to be at South Hills Golf Club. They've repeatedly been asked to stop sending e-mails to that address, but they continue regardless. It causes several of my office staff to waste important time opening and reading their spam e-mails because they believe they need to respond to inquiries to us for business. This constant spamming, ineptness, and lack of concern shows that the company is incapable and inconsiderate of the harm they do. South Hills Golf Club is, unfortunately, part of the problem because they allow this to continue even though they too have been complained-to.

Lies, Bait & Switch & More Lies

Bench Craft called me and dropped the name of a friend and fellow business owner who had allegedly given my company's name as maybe wanting one of the sponsor spots for this golf course guide (turns out that was Lie #1) after selecting a spot in their course guide I didn't think anything of it. About 3 hours later the guy calls back appologizing that the spot had been taken but that they had only one spot left, thinking another salesperson had sold that spot I didn't think anythign of it and said sure, I'd take the smallerl spot this year. When he sent the paperworkk not only had they tried to upgrade me from my original location to the more expensive back cover they also ADDED the smaller spot. Why would I pay for two pages? When I told him that's not what I thought he meant, he got beligerent and blamed it on me. I politely said he must be thinking about another conversation that in fact, we had never talked about the inside back cover and said no, I'm sticking with what we originally talked about. Then the person became even ruder and refused to respond to my emails. In fact, they didn't respond in writing a single time, but sure wasted no time running my card. Thank goodness I got on this right away and filed a dispute with my credit card. When I looked on line this company has numerous complaints so they are indeed 100% unethical and a garbage company simply making money by lying to people. Disgusting - I hope they piss off the right person and they get them for wire fraud because they certainly are lying and misrepresenting using phone, text and email . . . and that is fraud, wire fraud to be precise.

This company called offering advertising space on the scorecard of a local golf course. We naively believed it was not a scam because of the supposed partnership they had with local places that do in fact exist. Upon finishing our agreement for the scorecard ad we were offered an advertising spot on a billboard to be displayed at another golf course in town which we also paid for. We provided the artwork and an entire month later we were contacted to confirm. Oddly enough we were also contacted by this company again that day trying to sell us the thing we had already bought, was supposed to be limited in availability and should theoretically be in production. This prompted me to call the golf course in question to find out if this product even exists. I should have done that before purchasing. I've spoken to three different representatives from the golf course that claim to not know anything about this scorecard and also verified that they use a digital platform for this purpose. When I questioned Bench Craft about this the employee I spoke to was incredibly aggressive, borderline shouting, and refused to transfer me when I wanted to speak to someone more calm. I tried calling again and they again told me I was flat wrong but could not provide me a product or any proof of its reality. I tried a third time to get some clarity on the issue and no one would receive my call nor call me back. Due to being incredibly busy and short staffed I put the issue on the back burner. Today I was sent a solicitation via email for "brand new scorecards" for this very same golf course. They never provided the original ones they scammed our small family business into purchasing. I do not understand how they are allowed to operate as they manipulate and take advantage of specifically small businesses and then refuse accountability about their non-product until the people they scam give up because they are too busy to argue with them. It's reprehensible.

This company sent a mailing that contained an art proof to my employer stating we had purchased golf course bench advertising that we did not place. It stated to respond within 10 days from the date of the letter (7/01/2021) which was postmarked 7/06/2021. The letter stated that if we did not respond with 10 days it would "indicate approval." This was not received in my office until 7/12/2021. It also states in fine print that "if this proof does not reflect the artwork you submitted, it is possible we did not receive the artwork and an ad was designed by finding information regarding your company online." After reading the numerous complaints about this company I am not going to respond at all and see what happens.

These guys have been scamming people for years, Do you guys not see your own reviews on the better business bureau?? They are based in portland Oregon. These guys stole thousands from me. They mislead people into stating they make golf scorecards and would put your ad on the scorecard. The problem is there is not proof your ad actually gets printed and goes into circulation. I went to several golf courses and never saw my ads on the cards.

The second step to their scam is they then call you and state they simply need "one more payment" to get this ad. I finally pay, i still dont see my ads printed and then a few months later another rep calls me and states they need payment again for the same thing i paid for, this time for a different hole on the course which i never ordered! They keep adding things to your order without you knowing and then attempt to call you to collect payment.

Please for the love of god, if hundreds of people are saying the company is a scam on the ScamPulse.com then it must be a scam! They are preying on innocent people with new small businesses and taking our money and doing nothing with it. They lure you like a fish with bait and keep collecting payments from you until you have had enough, with NO actual product or service that was promised. As soon as i addressed this, the rep got aggressive with me and hung up on me.

Please take these guys down.

I advertised with this company and they without my knowledge retained my credit card on file. Then right before my ad was due to be run, they sent me an email with the ad copy. Asked for my approval. I thought I was approving the ad but they claimed I was approving buying the same ad for NEXT year and charged my card again. They have provided the email to my credit card company saying I approved the charge when they know I was NOT intending to run the ad in 2021.

Tyler the sales rep that did not even call back after calling him for charging my card and complaining to the company not one call back. and is so sad how many people they scam if you go on yelp and lookup Bench craft Company and see all the reviews in there about scamming people.
