I placed an order with Belmead Designs (website belmeaddesigns.com) in November 2021 for a pre-order of two needlepoint canvases that had a turnaround time of around three months. I was in contact with the seller about making an update to my order and heard back from them immediately. By 4 or 5 months, I had heard nothing new and had no update on my order then I received a shipping confirmation email from them. I reached out to re-confirm they had sent the right canvas (since I had previously made a change) and they assured me it was the right one. Instead I received the wrong one. I emailed them back (to [email protected]) and said I had received the wrong canvas and also the other canvas I ordered was missing. They said they would rectify it and were resending the right canvas, which they did but they never sent my missing canvas. I followed up with them about the missing canvas and didn't hear from them so finally I began asking for just a refund, to which they never responded. I kept telling them that I would dispute it with my bank if I didn't get a refund, which is what I ended up doing. I lost $149.00.

After a few months, my bank decided that the dispute wasn't applicable since I had authorized the purchase on my end. I was furious.

There was no option to leave any sort of review for this business so I commented on their instagram warning other shoppers to NOT order as it was a scam. Within 60 seconds, the business had blocked my personal account and my professional account.
