Beijing Enterprises Holdings Limited Reports & Reviews (3)

Same thing just happened to me today. Text me saying they were from Beijing Enterprise, a recruiter named Belinda Maxwell. Definitely a scam. I have never put in an application for that company and it’s based in China. Also since when are interviews conducted over texting apps?

Same thing here happened yesterday for me except this person goes by Blake Ann. Her email address is [email protected] although I'm sure they have many accounts. Also they texted me early morning claiming to be a recruiter on # 808-800-9136 going by the name Susan Campbell.

They emailed me some stupid check from Youth Guidance saying they were as good as cash...

Played along as long as possible to try and get some info about them but here are a few screen shots below.

I received a text message from this number one day claiming that they are "Mulan Tao from Beijing Enterprises Holdings Limited" and that they reviewed my resume and selected me for an interview process. This interview was conducted through Google Hangouts and strictly through text. The email they used was [email protected] and I basically played along with the fake interview to see what the scammer would say. They basically just copy-pasted a bunch of random facts about the company that they were using to scam people. They also made me answer legitimate-sounding questions such as my previous work experience, my "major attributes", skills, etc. Something interesting that they said was this:

" You will need some Data entry/Accounting software and also a Automated tracker to commence your training and orientation and also you need the software to get started with work...the work of the time tracker is to calculate your hours worked since this is an online work from home. Here are the name's of the softwares you will need to start working with LIST OF SOFTWARES: Agilent version A.6.1.1, A.7.1.1 and A.7.1.2 Affymetrix version MAS 5 (5.0, 5.1), GCOS (1.0, 1.1), and dChip 1.3 GenePix version 3.0, 4.1, and 5.3 NimbleScan version 2.1.16 SpotReader version 1.0 Peach Tree version 2013 Premium US Patent Single Users Pack BS 1 Accounting software. Are you familiar with the software's? "

They also said that they were going to send a check to me through mail so I can pay for the softwares, but obviously the check would be fake and if I were to go ahead and deposit it, I would be responsible for the money and end up having to pay that money. That's how they get people. This is the best way to spot a scam.

I kept wasting the person's time and eventually confronted them and told them that I knew it was a scam. Needless to say, they blocked me a few seconds later.

Please don't fall victim to this scam. I hope my report will help anyone who is in this same or similar situation.
