They left no card, the van was unmarked, there was no front license plate as NJ has front license plates. Then they texted us with a new number 646-917-4070 "Hi this is technician" My husband responded with "We will not be having any work done at this time thank you" The number responded with "You owe us 69 dollars".
The interaction with them was very suspicion and pushy. They were looking to get approval immediately, they said they will be back the next day to work on it.
After revisiting Google we realized the building that they are claiming that they are in does not have a chimney company. There are only 3 suites and the website says that it is suite #45. There is a doctors office, a lawyers office, and a yoga place in that building, that is it. So, this is a complete scam.
After they left another company came, they did not know the other people came and we declined them to come in.
If this was a family company two different people that do not know one another wouldn't of come. That phone number was 856-655-6618. They also called.
We have never complained about anything before. We really hope this is taken seriously. Thank you for all your help regarding this matter.
