Type of a scam Online Purchase

This individual works off of his website called AverySchnauzer.com He stated he was a breeder with 15 years experience. He had 2 schnauzers we were interested in getting. The website said they were selling them for $750 for 1 or $1200 for 2. Shipping was included in the price. We thought this was an amazing deal. The website stated they would use cashapp, PayPal, Zelle to pay for puppies. We tried the cashapp and PayPal but neither worked for the website. This should have been the tipoff. When asked about the payment with their online messaging system they said only to use zelle. So we had this with our bank so we did it. After sending we waited to hear more details about the shipment factor and time they'd arrive. He said as soon as he receives our payment he'd send the info. We took a screen shot of the confirmation and sent it on messaging. He stated no that he didn't receive it and that we should talk to our bank about it. After talking to our bank and learning yes it went through for the 1200 we then spoke again through email and messaging. He still said he hadn't received it we should try sending it to his other zelle account and other email. We said no way, we already had sent him 1200 and had proof through zelle. After a lot of back and forth he just stopped messeging and emailing us. His name he goes by is Angelo JeanBaptiste. His emails he uses is [email protected], and [email protected]. Expensive lesson learned. Also most online banking offers a fraud protection policy or plan and will refund the money you lost. Not Zelle. Plus it takes 10 days to check out the issue. Stay away from Avery Schnauzer website.
