My computer locked up and a 1 800 number appeared, I thought I was calling Microsoft but it was this Aurum Curve. Aurum Curve will explain to you that Microsoft hires other companies to assist with scammers. Aurum Curve then sells you a "computer security software" in various prices to stop scammers from hacking in again. They will log into your computer to put this software on and then scan to look for other IP address' that should not be in your computer. I have tried to contact Aurum Curve through their website but have not gotten a response, there is no phone number on the website. I have not taken my computer to a computer service that will clean up my computer and see what damage or info they may have taken.
