That happened to me this morning smh. These scammers are too much. Something told me to google the number because it even looked stupid. Especially since no job that’s paying out going to reach out to you thru text messages because “you caught their eyes” lol.

Received an text message saying hi with my first and both last names spelled correctly which was weird because my last names are pretty unique. Then i proceeded to text the number back like who is this. They did not respond for a while so i called and it was connecting me to a WhatsApp number. Later the number texted me a long paragraph about messaging another number on telegram and it suppose to be the Human Resources director. Messaged them on telegram and pretty fast I had the “job”. They sent me an email with a check in it and i was suppose to print it out and put in my bank account. It seemed too fishy on how quick I got the job. Mind you the check sent to my email had a lot of misspellings company. I also called Ascension to let them know what was going on also. Hopefully they should be calling back during business hours.
