My wife received a 2-page notice on plain white paper, claiming to be collecting a debt from medical work done by "Baptist Medical Group," which is similar to (but not precisely) a title Mississippi Baptist Medical Center uses for parts of its organization. It was sent to my wife at the correct address, but her middle name was misspelled. The detailed charges listed account numbers that partially matched my wife's actual account number with Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. However, the amounts didn't correspond either to the charges or payments on her account. Some of the numbers are suspiciously round. Furthermore, the letter had a few unprofessional formatting errors.

The address this company used (1410 Industrial Park Road) matches that of another legitimate collection agency with a different name. The website looks like a hastily constructed page with dubious content and no telltale features common to legitimate business websites.
