Yes I received the information via text message. They are so full of it trying to convince you that they are legit. I even humored him and said I’d think on it after I contact the USPS to verify recent frauds. I also contacted the bank listed on the checks and spoke with the bank manager in case he contacted me again. She stated a rash of checks were showing up with Charles G Huffman as the Remitter which is also fake. If you cash the check later you will be responsible for that amount and be out of what you sent the so-called installer. Once I informed him I wasn’t depositing the check he even asked me to take what I wanted out and just send the rest, guess the installer wasn’t getting his share. Most numbers are out of California 530-457-4972; 530-359-8748

They tried to get me as well . I screen shot everything blocked the number and they don’t know if I’m going through with it or not which I am most definitely not !

Received a text with a tiny URL went out to check it out an it is a scam. Today I get an email with all the info on how wn when, when i would receive a check lol. Its shameful. Good thing most of us in the USA speak good english!

Grrr. No company of this size would use checks these days unless it's a scam... I received a job offer on Indeed.com with a link to a "homemade" website with an unofficial application containing 3 questions. From my experience, i have landed a few legit jobs through Indeed. Initially, i had to inquire just to be sure i wasn't missing out on a [great sounding] promotion during this time of need. I was then reached out to by text message which I have included a picture of below. The red flag to me was when he stated that it would be in check form and that I would be paying the "car wrap professional" in my area to do the work for $2000. There is no reason they would not be able to pay them directly if indeed this was not a scam. Also the "company document" is such a joke. There is no info to verify or contact information/ links to the actual company to allow me to verify that they are not simply trying to prey on the ignorance and vulnerability of young adults. I don't do the check thing anymore, of course they don't tell you that upfront...

I received a text asking if I want to put an Aquafina decal on my car. Traded tax and I've traded emails I even checked the website and it seems like it's legit then I get a check in the mail with specific instructions need to know if this is legit or this is fake would like to know as soon as possible

Yes just to see and my bank did not accept it. Looked real even had the heat sensitive paper. Told them it was a scam and then I got a email saying they are going to send the authorities around me lol wtf

I was contacted in a short email by Aquafina to put a decal rap on my car. It sound like a full car wrap. The false advertisement also said that I would make between $2000 and $3000 per month. I already filled out the application with my personal information including my address. I will simply shred the checks when they arrive at my house because this is a scam. Fred Gonzalez.

I also received a proposal to have my car wrapped and I would receive $500 a week.

I am William from Aquafina bottle water.
I am directed to inform you that you have been selected to participate in the Aquafina Bottle Water Advertisement.

Then they requested a picture of my vehicle which I haven't sent yet. I'll admit I fell for it at first until I got suspicious and researched it online and found these reports of the scam.

Subsequent texts were "The payment has been mailed out to you by our agent." And they gave a tracking number.

I received a text from email claiming to get paid to advertise “auto wrap”for Aquafina I just had to text back my car details. It claimed I would receive an upfront check of $750.

I got a email detailing-
Congratulations on being part of the Aquafina Paid to Drive Concept! The whole company welcomes you, and we look forward to a successful journey with you! Welcome aboard! A start-up check of $2,950.00 payment will be issued in your name by on Dear e of our sponsors and mailed to your address via courier service, please be aware that this amount covers your first week's wages and also cover the decal expenses for the "Aquafina" auto wrap Ads on your vehicle which we believe you can handle with TRUST. Your subsequent paycheck will be $750 weekly after the wrap has been installed.

Please kindly reconfirm the name and your mailing address to be on the check and your email address.

A person claiming to be Robert marsh contacted me by email say they would like me to put a wrap on my truck . I agreed and they sent a check a told me to put it in my bank ,i did not do that i whent and had the check looked at by wells fargo here in nashville tn. And they said it was a great check passed the inspection.but they call the bank it was drawn on and they said that the check was a forgery and a scam ,and to contact law enforcement which im doing now

I’ve applied for a few remote jobs on indeed and got a text saying there was an Aquafina advertisement job open(a little different than car wrap but I feel like it’s the same thing) and they got my resume from indeed and that they would move forward with my remote position and send a check. I figured I’d check it out when I got to see how to move forward. Needless to say the check is cut from Los Angeles House of Ruth, which is a womens shelter, and I did not cash the check. I used google, found this site and wanted to report my experience. I have attached the check and the note that was with it. Unfortunately the address they sent it from seems fake as well. I entered the number they gave on the note with the check, there is also a second number that messaged me, it is (913)624-1233

I received a text from (347)384-7502 asking if I would like to make $750 a week getting my car wrapped with an advertisement for Aquafina Water. they told me to get online at aquifinacampaign.com and fill out the application. Askes for your address, phone, email, and if you are employed and your gender.
My assistant manager at my branch spotted the check last night and confirmed that the routing # was for a different credit union than the one on the check.
If Steve wouldn't have caught the discrepancies, the check would have been deposited and I would have thought it was real and followed instructions to get my car wrapped. It takes up to two weeks for a cashiers check to clear.

Send me a check for $5,100.00 to cash to place a sticker on my car. The check was mailed to me and I was to cash it get $1,000.00 and forward the rest of the money to Mr. Luz Ruiz. I don’t cash the check at all…

Hi. I was solicited by a person saying they would pay me to wrap my car for Aquafina. I messaged them and they sent me a check for $3750 from a store called Jacobson's Market in Chipperwa Falls, WI. That was the way it was spelled on the check, so I immediately thought it was strange. I contacted the store (which is real) and they had nothing to do with it. I haven't tried cashing the check because it was all a red flag.

I received an unsolicited text message about a car wrap for Aquafina all I had to do is answer a couple of questions which I did then I started thinking not before I answered them. The questions were named address what's the name of my bank was which at first I hesitated but I thought well they're going to need to know where to pay me like a dummy, and the name color and type of car I have. I gave way too much information and now I'm scared. What can I do to protect myself I have blocked the number I have written back to him and this is the third time I've tried to report this to scampulse- I don't know if it's going through or not. Can someone please tell me if I need to do something I'm scared because this Robert Marsh who sent me the text messages going to know where I live the kind of car I have and a little bit of other information that I was stupid enough to put on the text message back. I'm his perfect patsy ?

Got a text promising $600/week to advertise Aquafina on my car. I did a google search to see if it was a scam and I found this website. I’m glad I didn’t do anything yet.
