Applied online to 6 remote positions. Scheduled a teams interview which found it odd that it did not start at the scheduled time. Eventually had someone go online. Asking me interview questions. Then got fishy asking name of bank institution which I replied I did not feel comfortable providing. Eventually was told to be on a lookout for offer letter. Received offer letter to accept. Then background check email to fill out. Received okay for background and to contact my HR manager. Which all the contact I had for her was via teams or email. I emailed and send teams messages which she barely today replied for me to take a course to proceed which I replied that courses had a fee and I did not have the money to pay and asked if the company would provide free classes and never got an answer back. Now I’m worried about my info being compromised I did a google search and other people made the same claim as scam. Wish I knew before
