TikTok @Rentregulatedunits Scammer!!!!

The TikTok @rentregulatedunits pretended to be Michael Orme from Douglas Elliman. I stopped once I saw the Google form he wanted me to fill out through a Word document. So
sketchy and unlike any renter form I’ve ever encountered. I texted the real Michael, and he told me that he was not who I was texting. Such a huge scam, do not contact!

The tik tok @rentregulatedunits pretended to be Melinda Sicario from Douglas Elliman. Told me to pay 150 application fee and send me a receipt and then said I needed to pay a refundable security deposit of 2300 before seeing the unit. I called the real Melinda’s office and they told me that she has been getting hundreds of calls about this scam. The phone number is in the tik tok bio but it’s a full on scam.
