They text me asking for an interview. Not sure how they knew I was with the VA. I didn't respond. The automated process and AI is making it scarier.

I received the following text message "your resume for AO Team of VA:Benefits Specialist was reviewed by our team. May we schedule online interview Tues,10/29@11AM or 3PM ET?"

Currently, since companies are looking for ways to automate their hiring process and update their communication methods to include text messaging, there has been an increase in scammers posing as companies and sending unsolicited messages in an effort to scam job seekers of their personal information.

They obtained my info and tried to scam me on a job. I don't know if they would have asked for money because I did not get on the scammers call.
