Claim was that a relative of mine had died and left behind unclaimed $11,550,300.00 insurance proceeds. Suggests that I may be his relative due to having same last name of individual that passed away from Covid. Claim is to go together with Attorney noted to claim the funds in my behalf. 10% of funds awarded would go to charity... the rest would be split 45% and 45% between me and the attorney. I was to reach out to the attorney, Davey Jones, via his email addresses. I threw out the letter recognizing this to be a Scam.

Received a letter from a David Jones with Andrea Lakers LLP, in Toronto, Canada. Letter was regarding an unclaimed permanent life insurance claim from a supposed deceased distant relative. Claim amount was $11,550,300.00. I tossed the letter and reported the fraud to ScamPulse.

Received a letter in the mail today (9/11/26) from David Jones, a lawyer, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada indicating there was an unclaimed permanent life insurance policy held by his deceased client, in the amount of $11,550,300. The policy holder was a real estate investor and precious stone dealer who passed from Covid 19, about two years ago. They were contacting me because we have the same last name. He wants to split it with me with 10% going to charity. It's 100% risk free. Wants to partner with me to get the funds. States that he has the necessary documentation to expedite the process, but it may take up to 30 days to obtain the money. Contact him at dav.jonez3@gmail (not a law firm email). Also, the letter looks like it was copied from another letter, and the post mark stamp is from Greensboro, North Carolina. I am the historian of the family, and we have no one by the name of Robert with our last name and we know all of our relatives in Canada.

Same as one reported 9/10/26. Received 9/11/26, permanent life insurance policy of deceased client, $11,550,300.09. Client died of COVID 2 years ago, no relatives, real estate investor and precious stone dealer.

Envelope was mailed in Greensboro NC. Asking for split 45%, 45%, 10% to charity
