Over this past week (August 4-7th), People pretending to be with “American Tax Advisor” have contacted me multiple times under the names Emily & Ashley, regarding “tax balances or unfilled tax returns” and that it was urgent to call back. This number I was supposed to call back was always a different number than the one used to first call me and even differed between phone calls. I know this is a scam because the voice messages left by these numbers were the same A.I. voice regardless of it being “Emily” or “Ashley” and were so quiet they were barely audible, I needed headphones despite my strong hearing to hear the voice that left me the message. The contacting phone numbers and who to call back were different each time and included: (844) 658-2117, (877)-541-5718, (877) 351-6283, (877) 776-9668, and finally (833) 419-8310.
