Type of a scam Online Purchase

A woman called stating she was from Amazon fraud division and said someone had an Amazon credit card in my name with amounts charged of $4000 and $2200 on them, but not to worry as they had cleared the $4000 charge off my account. I do not have an Amazon card. She then stated someone had 18 credits cards in my name between Russia, China, Texas and 2 other places, so she needed me to give her the last four digits of every credit card that I possessed. She stated “you see I’m not asking for the 3 digit security code from the back of the cards so you know this is not a scam. I had my sister call my niece from another phone to let her know what was happening and she told me to hang up immediately because it was a scam. She then called the number back to verify the number and it kept going to a Nextel voicemail but then someone would call her back from a different number each time they called her. My niece spoke to a man who demanded she give him her name but would not answer any of her questions.
