I received a sketchy phone call from 412-228-4016. The person left a voicemail that was breaking up when they said what company they were from and some other key pieces of information were broken up. Essentially the parts that I did hear stated that they were going to try to deliver something to my job and would contact my HR department, which alarmed me. I called the number back and it just rings and rings. I listened to the voicemail again and managed to barely hear a phone number. I called the number and was told the company was “Alliance Mediation”. I was put on hold for a good 5 minutes, so I hung up. The next time I called back, I got a different person; however, the guy automatically knew who I was. I guess from my cell phone number that popped up? However they knew, it was disturbing. They knew my address and date of birth as well. The guy proceeded to tell me I supposedly took out some loan back in 2017 and I now owed over $5,000. I told him I have no recollection of what he is talking about. Then he told me that I committed a serious crime because I allegedly wrote a bad check for $175, so as a result their attorney is trying to file 2 lawsuits against me. He proceeded to use scare tactics and harassment as I proceeded to tell him that I don’t know what he is talking about and the fact that the statute of limitations would have run out on this supposed collection in PA by now. That’s when he got defensive with me and began threatening that they would go to the IRS to take any of my tax return this year or to my employer to garnish my wages. He then attempted to arrange for a server to deliver a certified letter to me. He wanted them to come on Monday. I told him no I won’t be home. I said they could come on Wednesday. He got VERY irate and said “No that’s not happening. I’ve tried with you!” Then he hung up on me! I immediately called back and the same guy that had just hung up on me answered the phone. I said a few choice words and legalese and hung up on him. These people should go to jail for what they are doing to people. Their story sounds very similar in each of the complaints I’ve read.

The number was +1 (408) 215-1895 that they called from and when I picked up it was a prerecorded message saying it’s an important matter to return the phone call. When I called back I got someone named John (he didn’t have a strong accent or sound weird like scam calls usually do) so I assumed it was legitimate. He had my last 4 of my ssn and my full name and my current address and my old addresses. He said that I took out a loan I defaulted on in 2018 with a payday loan place. While talking to him I got a weird vibe, he kept telling me not to call the original creditor because it’s past resolution and now I had to wait for a summons in the mail. He said they already started wage garnishment proceedings? That didn’t sit right with me so I politely said ok I’ll wait for the summons but something told me to call the pay day company. I called them and checked and they have 0 for me. No account, no collections, nothing! I called back and got the same guy who I spoke with, I told him I called the original creditor and they have 0 information in regards to any kind of loan or anything. He then asked me why I called back if I knew it was a scam, I told him it was to tell him how much of a low life he is for scamming people. He literally laughed and goes I hope you have a nice day.

A guy named Anthony Mitchell told me that I had a bad check dated for 2008 and it was for a loan. He couldn't provide my where the loan was from, or what bank the check was wrote from. He had my last 4 digits of my SS# , my car make and model and tag #. Demanded me to pay $$ or risk going to court and putting a lean on my car . He was nasty , cruel & demanding . He literally had zero amount of information to offer me. I quickly called an attorney. Glad I did.

Supposedly this guy's name is John who called from Alliance mediation group. He claimed that my husband took out a loan in 2016 and whatever account his loan was attached to was closed so they're trying to obtain money from him and trying to settle it before going to court. This is the second time we've gotten this call we did not take a loan out in 2016 any loans that have been taken over the years have been paid they try to throw a bunch of big numbers around and try to sound really smart. This last guy was the most well-spoken and probably is the most successful in his field of scamming. The phone number they say to call back is not the same they call from. I'm half expecting them to call back again and I'm going to tell him go ahead and serve the papers. They do have our full address they do know husband's last four of his social so it is a fairly alarming amount of information that they have as they try to obtain money from people. Alliance mediation group do not call 1844-672-4472. Do not answer phone calls from 877-872-6630. I hope no elderly individuals or people with memory and cognition difficulties get scammed by these buttheads, but they do seem like they have a pretty intricate scamming system going for them

This company contacted a distant member of the family (my mother in law) saying there was a warrant for my arrest and has called her multiple times a day for a week now giving the name of contact as Ashley. I checked with my local law enforement agency and they state there is nothing for me, no tickets, no warrants, no suspension of my license, nothing. Local law enforcement states this is a scam.

My father was contacted by Alliance Mediation Services. They said that I had 2 civil litigations against me and that they were investigators working for me. They said they were going to try to get this taken care before it goes to pre-litigation court. They said that I would receive a court summons. They read the last digits of my ssn. They said they were from Atlanta, Ga but they had office all over.
