Fraudulent contractor abandoned chimney and roof repair after taking $52,000
An individual from this company approached an elderly couple at their home and provided a flyer containing an unlicensed contractor number. The address listed on the flyer is not a business office, and the phone number provided does not accept messages.
Within one week of the initial contact, the individual requested and received over 50 thousand dollars to repair a chimney and roof. He began the project but abandoned it before completion. Furthermore, he failed to pay his workers, who have since returned to the property seeking payment.
