Paid deposit for group tickets to Morocco but reservation was cancelled
I thought that I was talking to an Air Maroc agent (he was not) who told me that since it was a group we could put down a deposit of $2,000.00 and later send in the balance. He sent me a copy of our itinerary and confirmation code. A couple of months passed and I decided to call the airline in order to check. I was informed that reservations were made but then cancelled due to lack of payment. I then called the company that supposedly made the reservation and I was told that I was mistaken and that reservations were made for air Jordan. I spoke to many people after that all with various phone numbers. They suggested and asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. I have been waiting ever since. They even offered to Zelle me the refund which they never did of course. I have called them every week and they recently blocked my number. This is a SCAM operation. Beware please.
