On 2/5, I took flight **** out of Charlotte leaving from gate **. While on the plane, I dropped purse containing a car key, money, and personal items. A flight attendant on the plane inadvertently took my item to the gate agent at ** because she said she thought it belonged to some that deplaned. I contacted American Airline lost and found, and submitted lost and found ticket to the airport lost and found. The Airport Lost & Found service, represented itself as a specialty department of the Charlotte airport that provided extended services to help locate lost items. In reality, they provide no additional services at all. It appears to be one person that sits and responds and provides false updates. When I inquired about this agency at the airport, the CLT airport said there is no such agency as stated by, the Mike, ALF representative. He asked for airline info, address and flight details. In return, this information below was provided. I just noticed the misspelling in the contact info. Please assist with shutting this fake business down. This ticket was created on your behalf.
