I made an error in flight reservations and called United to fix it. This number came up as United’s number. They pretended to be united airlines but they are not. They needed to charge a small fee to fix one letter in my air ticket name. They charged $410. Once I saw my credit card I realized they were not real. I called United via their app and they informed me this was not them nor someone they contract with. They took a report. It seemed so real because I googled the number and they answered as if they were United. I’ll dispute the charge with my credit card. United made a note on my ticket.

On Feb 2025, I bought a flight ticket for my husband by calling a phone number that showed on internet as "Copa Airlines", when I called since the accent sound like from India I was like "are you Copa Airlines" they said "yes, we are, how can we help you". I then proceed to buy the ticket to other country to get my mother's cat that my husband was going to help me to get to bring it to USA. I bought the ticket and also I got one ticket for my cat. After my husband travel to outside USA, the day to bring the cat arrived and my husband went with the cat to the airline, for his and mine surprise they said the cat was not included. We were like what???? So the purpose of the flight was to get the cat nothing else. Long story short, my husband had to buy another ticket for him and the cat. He paid extra $800 plus the cat $145 plus taxes. In total we ended paying $2400 for all this mess. After my husband got out that country, we called to get the money back and find out what happened. They told me that the money will be return, that please sent bank statements and receipt for what we paid, etc. that it will be an investigations. but that after I called about 15 times and they never called me back only one time to tell me that they are reviewing the case that is all. The emails never were return, the people who answer are from India, and never an American answer the phone. After I submitted all this I got so frustrate that I just decide to wait, 2 months passed and never hear back from them. I call back and then they told me they will call me back that Addy and Stella Marshall will call me back with the resolution. Never called me back, then one person told me that I was laying that I never bought the ticket for my cat and they have recording I did not do it, I told them ok send me the recordings to confirm you are saying the true. They did not send anything because I was not laying they were. This place is a scam and took my money and I am still paying for that because I paid with a credit card since I did not have the money at the moment. Companies from outside USA should not be allow to sell flight tickets to Americans, specially from a country that cannot even provide good costumer service since they were not able to provided good information in english maybe that is why they report they were Copa because they did not understood my question on the firs place. I am not racist but I am also really guide by the book so please do not buy ticket from companies that people do not speak our language or seem sketchy or not directly from the airline like you are 100% is the airline.

I was concerned that I needed to add my middle name to an upcoming international flight and accidentally called a fake number (the scammer number) for the airline. They said they were going to charge me $400 to change my name on my flight because they had to rebook it. I started crying on the phone and they said they could waive the fee "one way" and only charge me $225. They now have access to my credit card, my reservation #, and my passport information
