I scanned a QR code from a pamphlet for the Accu-Chek blood sugar monitor and it took me to the Accu-Chek.com website where I thought I was filling out information related to the recently purchased monitor to get information about the monitor and for possible test strip supplies for the monitor. It asked for a credit card but indicated that I would not be billed for anything at the time. I thought it was for future purchases for items related to the monitor. I then receive a text from my credit card company that I was billed $34.98 by a company named Prokmerg that I had no idea for what or why. I then contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge as fraud and immediately cancelled the credit card.
