On July 23, 2026, I was contacted by a company called Absolute Delivery about a job opportunity. As part of what was presented as employment onboarding, I provided my Social Security number and direct deposit/bank account information. I also completed a required pre-employment drug test on July 27, 2026. After that, the company stopped responding entirely — I made repeated attempts to reach them by phone and email between August 1 and August 15, 2026, with no response. As of September 10, 2026, I have received no schedule, no start date, and no further communication. I believe I may have provided sensitive personal and financial information to a company that had no genuine intention of employing me, and I am concerned this information could be misused.
