Report

Received a call from the 631-201-5748, said he was with Docuserve and that he had no information other than a case number and to call 866-573-5748. I called the number a woman answered, I asked who is this she said is this your name (said my name), then I asked who is this she said Abram and Associates then she asked for my last 4 digits of my SSN or my DOB and I hung up the phone.

The following day the supposed Docuserve number called and left a VM indicating that there's a pending civil suit against me, and told me to call the 866 number again and left the case number he gave me yesterday. He said this was a civil suit against me from Abrams and Associates, the matter is time sensitive, and if I didn't call the other number that I would have no legal recourse. The call appeared to originate from NY, USA.
