I received postal mail from 888-926-1089 which included insurance ID cards for a car I never owned. Message says, "Attached are your new ID cards for your 2019 Ford Edge service contact. You MUST CALL NOW to activate your cards for the protection of your vehicle to be VALID. Our records indicate the manufacturer's new car warrnaty may have expired. So, your exact mileage is required upon calling to activate your new service contract." Since I don't own a Ford Edge (never have), I see they are trying to get me to call and give personal information and extract money. I did not call to give them the chance. This is the 2nd attempt and 2nd piece of mail regarding the same vehicle.
