Scam voicemail about complimentary cruise from Orlando Promotions
"Hey, this is Charlotte over at the Orlando Promotions office and I wanted to personally reach out and say thank you for your recent vacation with Hilton Wyndham Marriott, one of our other travel resorts. And because of that, you've actually been selected to receive a complimentary luxury cruise for 2 aboard Margaritaville at C's award winning ship, the Islander. So this includes your cabin, all of your meals, and your onboard entertainment, and you have up to 18 months to use it. Now I did want to give you a quick heads up. This promotion is almost full, and I can only hold your spot for a short time. So when you call back, just ask for me, Charlotte, and I will take great care of you personally. So you can reach me at 888-681-2253. Again, that's 888-681-2253. I can't wait to speak with you soon."
I haven't stayed at that hotel chain in a very long time. Among other things, that is how I know it is a scam.
