This is the second iteration. I did not choose to pay their arrangement to pay for a debt that they refuse to validate. I replaced my debit card and since I refused to pay they are threatening me with a process server and garnishment of my wages.

Legitimate debt collection companies provide the debt information and the fact that they get nasty when you ask tells me all that I need to know. At one point I was offered calling the original debtor which would get me referred back to them. If you have the same information then simply provide it.
