Overpriced

I called this company to repair my garage door. They were very nice on the phone. The technician came out and said I needed new springs and that is why the door was not working. He said the springs would be $600 plus $145 labor. I said OK, thinking the cost was high. He completed the work then told me that the springs were $625 Each. total bill $1560, they charged me a 3% fee for using my credit card. He also tried to sell me the two spools on the end for $150 each, which I declined. Beware, there is no address for the business on the invoice. I hope that my bad experience will save you the heartache.

Searched the web for garage door repair. I selected one among the the "Top 10 listed". I recieved a call abount 5 - 10 mins later. The said they will be there within an hour. About 10 minutes after that, I got a call from the 866 number confirming if I had made the call. I said yes. A young person (25 - 30) showed up. He said the spring was the problem and replaced the single spring with 2 of the "best quality". He also change some kind of wheels where the wire rolls for $250.00. He did the work fast, mabye abou 30 minutes and left. A couple of weeks later the garge door started to fail by not coming down properly.
